50th Game 7 in NHL playoff history

Jets 4 – Blues 3 (x2 OT) (Series 4-3 Winnipeg) The Jets scored twice in the last two minutes of the game with their goaltender pulled and tying the game by setting an NHL game seven record when Winnipeg scored with just three seconds remaining in the game.

Another 2-0 lead (by the losing team) evaporated in game seven of the opening round and the Jets without their scoring Center Scheifele and lingering doubts about goaltender Hellebuyck being able to back stop this team to the next round, squashed all doubts.
TONIGHT’S MATCHUP FIRST GAME OF THE SECOND ROUND
Panthers vs Maple Leafs 8pm (Series 0-0)

I watched the third period of this game and was truly impressed by the sea of white in the stands and outdoors.
I had been torn between wanting the Winnipeg Jets to move onto the second round or not but after watching last night, I am now leaning towards supporting another Canadian team remaining in the NHL Playoffs this year.
What I read in a Sportsnet article (excerpt):
With the victory, the Jets join the Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, marking a rare accomplishment for Canadian teams.
It has been 21 years since the Stanley Cup Playoffs featured three Canadian teams in the second round. The last time was when the Leafs, Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens made it to the quarterfinals in the 2003-04 season.

It is pretty neat to see Canadian teams deep into the playoffs, which brings up why I wanted a franchise in Quebec before sin city, can you imagine if bettman finally allowed this and stocked the new Quebec team like he did for Nevada.
I am excited to see which team wins out, your high-flying Maple Leafs or the defensive Panthers, I did select Florida on my espn bracket, but I would not be surprised at all if Toronto advances past Florida.
Have fun watching tonight!
