Two games, two shutouts
Kings 3 (en) – Predators 0 Los Angeles now has a winning road record after Goaltender Kuemper stopped all 16 SOG that Nashville was able to rivet on net.

The Predators are off to one of their worst starts in franchise history and the Kings are sitting in second place in the Pacific Division.
Devils 3 – Oilers 0 New Jersey took 3 SOG in the second period and scored, then took 3 SOG in the third period and scored another goal meanwhile Edmonton launched 18 SOG over the same time period and did not score.

New Jersey dished out four hits for every one Edmonton managed, each team earned a power play with the Devils capitalizing and the Oilers would not, goaltending was key as New Jersey netminder Allen was outstanding and his counterpart at the other end of the ice was not.

I didn’t see that coming with the LA Kings outperforming the Nashville Predators and it’s quite an eye-opener to read that Nashville had only a pittance of 16 SOG.
I’ll wait for your write-up but in advance congrats on your strong third period performance and win last night against the Ottawa Senators.
Have a nice day everyone.
