Cancelling Coyotes

The Phoenix Coyotes are moving to…

One summer many NHL seasons ago I attended an “Alice Cooper” concert and low and behold at one point during the show he was sporting a hockey sweater that was half Phoenix and half Buffalo.

The fact that Mr. Fournier was wearing any Sabres or NHL gear at all increased my admiration for the man as well as learning he was an investor in one of the newest teams in the NHL.

Tomorrow we might be told by Mr. Bettman what the future holds for the dejected Arizona hockey fans team, the Phoenix Coyotes a once proud WHA Winnipeg Jets team and will they receive a stay of dissolvement?

Will the NHL locate the Arizona team to Utah instead of some of the brilliant financially sound locations in Canada, incredible as it may seem the Board of Governors the ruling body of the NHL with their one voice, one conductor so to speak in Mr. Bettman just might.

  1. I saw an Alice Cooper concert at Maple Leaf Gardens many, many moons ago. I remember standing on a folding chair to try to get a better view, lol.

Tiny Tim, remember him (“Tiptoe Through the Tulips”)? He was a huge Leafs fan and there’s great video of him.

I watched the NHL All-Star Weekend.

    1. Many moons ago would have been the best time to take in an Alice Cooper concert, what I do not attend are the bands/singers I appreciated 40 years ago still attempting to get “out there” and perform at oldies shows, the music is good but…there has to be some kind of protocol for these rock and rollers, lol.

I remember Tiny Tim and his wife Miss Vicki, he did have an unusual voice.

There must be a tremendous amount of activity to attend in Toronto over this All-Star weekend, pretty cool.
