ESPN FHL Daily Update Oct 22nd

Today’s FHL scoreboard has not altered greatly after just three NHL games last night with Team Fitzgerald earning a few points becoming the only team to reach the 100-point plateau and with Team Beaulieu scoring approximately a half a dozen points the weekly gap remains over 30 points.

Third place in the West Division team Buffalo Winter has built a 16.3 points lead over intra-division opponent Team Iglesias and with 18 NHL games over the final two days of this weekly matchup both teams can earn the week’s victory.

First place in the East Division and the league overall team Downton Flyers endeavoring to remain undefeated against West Division foe Team Beaty a team attempting to earn their first weekly win are separated by just over a dozen points.  

In the East Division second-place team, Buffalo Sabres earned over nine points last night versus third-place Team ALEX and both teams are undefeated and skating for second place in the East to keep pace with the current East Division leader.

First place in the West Division team Doughty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap facing second place in the West Team Borowicz are within only 6.9 points of each as both teams strive to remain undefeated and take hold of the division lead.

Mr. Pilut


With two starting defensemen out of the lineup defenseman Lawrence Pilut has been called up from Buffalo’s AHL affiliate the Rochester Americans where Mr. Pilut has notched a couple of assists in three games for the Amerks.

Kraken fans in Dever


The torture continues for last season’s President Trophy winners, the Panthers as they lose their fourth game of the season in OT to the team that swept them out of the second round of the playoffs last year, the Lightning.

The Seattle Kraken beat the Stanley Cup Champions in regulation last night to reach 2-2-2 on the season and the Red Wings remain undefeated in regulation as they lose in OT to the Blackhawks.

The NHL has scheduled 26 teams to be in action today beginning with two games at one o’clock and two games at four o’clock this afternoon then the rest of the contests will be between seven and 10 o’clock this evening.

        Good to hear that with last night’s game Mr. Dahlin extended the NHL record for defencemen with his 5th goal in five games to start the season.
